Easy Fill fuel cap

She has one of these things on her car, and it's a royal PITA. I'm looking at another truck that has one. Is there a reasonable way to replace them with a normal gas cap.

I'm not looking forward to twice the 'check engine' events because of vacuum leaks! We live on a gravel road, and the cap / door just don't seal correctly.

We have them on several vehicles and have never had an issue with any of them.

What vehicle is it?

Easy fill Ford has no "cap", it has a valve in the throat that seals the filler hose so no vacuum leaks
Can't see an issue with vibrations, gravel roads, with this setup

Fords with these setups should come with a funnel, as seen here:

To add fuel or additives when not at gas station


As far as replacing this type of setup, sure why not, would need to match filler hose size but gas cap should fit behind closed door

The problem is living in the country on gravel roads with lots of dust and grit. The no fill cap is only part of the seal, the rubber gasket around the fuel door is the other part. We wipe the fuel door gasket off regularly, but not always often enough to keep from tripping the check engine light. It will trip a minor vacuum leak error. Would love to find out there is a standard cap replacement for that POS !
