Dura spark so intimidating

Here's the truck

On edit: I forgot to mention that I took the module to (2) different auto parts stores to be tested, and it passed at both places. Ive gone over the wiring several times to check that I have done it right, But Im not sure

Where you have the red/blue and the red/ltblu spliced together cut the red/blue wire and see if it has something to do with the lights. Maybe that is where your getting the mixed signal. I still cannot find the red/blue wire in my schematics anywhere where does that wire come from and where does it go?

Both wires are red, one has a blue strip and the other one has purple strip.I will have to look to see where it came from, one end of it goes back inside the cab. Which one do want me to cut?

They are spliced to another wire what does that go to. Take that splice apart and see what is happening with all three wires. Key on, key on start and with the light switch on. I cant find a red/purple either.

Not being mean but this is about as simple as an ignition system gets other then an hei.

Sticking with the stock tfi coil made it just that much simpler. When i did my swap, took me 3.5 hours to do and that was gutting my tbi setup that i put on my 2.8 off and installing and getting the truck running again. That also includes putting a fuel pump back on the engine.

No offense taken, Im just trying to get it right.

kimcrwbr1 here is where the wire came from. I also took a test light with the key in the run position got nothing. Ill have to wait for someone to help me to get a test on the start position

kimcrwbr1, I was able to get a test light on those red/blue wires on the start position and I did have power on the start position. So Im thinking I need to cut those Red/blue wires, but of the three which two do I need to attach? Im think I need to leave off the one that I added?

Just be sure that when you do get this up and going that you put the wires in a casing of some kind, dont think you want to do this twice.
