hi ya fellas,
i have an 87 ford ranger w/dual tanks, problem is the front tank is rotted out. so now i want to go a single tank. problem is that pesky switchtank reservoir.and since i'm fairly new to wrenching, i was wondering if i could bypass the reservoir all together by hooking up my inline fuel filter directly to my fuel pump.my problem i guess lies in the fact that i don't know what type of fuel delivery system my truck's got, return or returnless, and if it makes a difference. i'm thinking it does make a difference, but don't know. so if anybody out there can set me straight on this issue,i would be grateful. thanx
