Dual batteries

hey for those of you who have dual batteries where do you typically mount the second one?

Mine is mounted on the opposite side of the engine bay, but turned 90 degrees from the stock position. I got the battery tray from a late 70's chevy half ton, and it fits quite nicely.

Mine is strapped down in my bed box, with the different wires running through holes that were drilled in the side of it.

Mine is mounted on a shelf in the box, but that might change with the addition of my sub system.

check out this link to my build thread. about 1/3 of the way down is where the dual battery stuff starts happening. mine is actually isolated by a toggle switch, like the painless wiring kit in the tech library is set up.http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37621&page=3

I have 2 34 AGM'S in the bed,one on each side in battery boxes that are bolted to the bed thru the liner. A isolater under the hood (charges both batterys when the motor is running but it keeps the draw seperate).One is for the motor and cab the other for lights and hopefully a winch soon.
I have them both in paraell right know for cranking,motors still pretty stiff.When i seperate them iam going to put a switch behind the gas tank door so if i need to i can jump them both together if i need the extra juice for Aux or Starting.
I just scored a pair of these bad boys for the store,they are going in soon........
