Run into a bit of an issue. I did a 5.0 conversion on a 1994 Ranger Extended cab using a 1987 Mustang H.O 5.0 and a AOD trans . The original 2 piece drive shaft was on the 3.0 and manual trans. Also the 2 piece shaft was in pretty bad shape so I read the articles on getting a later year 1 Piece unit from a ranger. Problem is even the 1 piece unit from later model ranger extended cabs are still nearly 6" too short. Has anyone done a 5.0 AOD swap?

Cut the nose off of it, weld a extension to it, and balance it. OR get a longer drive line, and cut it down. Way easier to balance.

We can cut a drive line in minutes, weld it back together and have it installed in an hour.
