I'd like to put a single drive shaft in my 1990 Ranger Supercab ( 4 inch lift)instead of the two piece/ hanger bearing setup I have now. Is there a drive shaft that will bolt in or do I have to get one welded? Thanks for any info.

The '98-00 one-piece supercab driveshaft is a "Bolt in" on any 1990-up
Supercab.

1990 is the first year for the large diameter rear axle "cpmpanion flange"
The reason you are limited to the -00 shaft is sometime in '00 Ford switched
the t-cases to the same size "larger" flange on the T-case.

You WILL have to remove the "pedestal" on your center support bearing
crossmember that the bearing actually mounts to...

Thanks, Hopefully it will solve a little vibration I'm getting out of the rear end.

I found a one piece from a '89 SC for 25 bucks.Would I be able to swap my companion flanges to make this fit, are the U-joints the same?
