Drive plate and rebuild questions

I have. The engine was painted about 5.5 years ago, and the block and heads have held up well with really no prep work. The valve covers, and anything aluminum is peeling.

Im going to try painting before i put engine back in. I've noticed the coolant passage on under side of intake manifold was completely rusted inside out shut, and that bolt will not come off for anything
