Now first off I want to say done a little research but want to double check and this is just an idea, since i just found the engine tonight.

Would this work in my 5spd 2.3l truck?

this site says that both transmission have same gearing, and both trucks came with either the 3.73 or the 4.10.

anything else I should know?

the transmissions have the same gearing, but they dont have the same housing
and ull need to replace the entire wiring harness from the engine, along with the ecu.

sure its not better to sell your truck and just get a v6?
