Door carpet accents.


I haven't yet, but the plan is I'm going to make old first gen style door panels for it.

I had that idea a couple years ago. Was going to update them a little bit though.
 
i haven't had a 3rd gen door panel apart lately to see extactly, but if it is melted studs like hank said, you can grind the melted plastic down to the point that you can pull the section out, re-cover it, then just glue the panel back on with an epoxy or something.

Cool I was thinking of this route. It was probably this or one of those plastic welding kits from harbor freight lol.
 
A local reupholsterer let me in on a trick, said to use a heat gun to melt the fibers then sand/scrape the rest off. Glue then a putty knife to push it into the crease. Haven't tried it though
