How about a pic of the switch...

the switch is just a basic switch that you would find at radio shack

momentary pushbutton function.

maybe the trip was out of an explorer origionally and it is meant for the rear defroster

The little black box came in the truck stock and there is no amps in the truck or wiring for one and i though about the self-destruct button lol ..The box is hook up to the stock ford harness and i can't figure why he would bypass the the relay inside the box with a button that does not seem to do anything but click...

maybe it goes to the blinkers from the po who messed them up... do they work?

That seems to be a fog light switch, with a power relay. Check to see if the fogs come on.

Maybe its for the GM A/C Mod?

Foglights?

Haha, sorry. I didn't see a picture in the FIRST post because I was at the shop. The only picture I saw was the one you linked of the push buttons.

Now that I see the first picture, possibly fogs?

It wouldn't be a momentary switch for lights.......you would have to hold it in for them to stay on.
Follow the wires from the relay.

one side of the switch goes to a power source and the other side taps into a wire that goes into the black box...
