What do I need to make these manual to mate up to my (already purchased) Warn 'jeep' hubs?

PS: I feel stupid.

Those are the cams for automatic locking hubs. You need the two locking nuts, one with a dowel in it, and the washers.

Yeah, I believe that is from an auto hub. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think you just need the locknuts and everything else (minus wheel bearings) from a manual hub axle.

all i can say is dont get the lock nuts from napa! they are horrible chinese quality! ford sells the kit for $30? i paid $22.

or you can go the warn lock nut way..... $60-80 i was being quoted.

Make sure you read about how to take all that trash apart. There's a key in there that you won't see with that grease because you won't expect it.

um, Brain fart. How many parts do I need?
Two locking nuts, what do these look like? are they pictured in that link that Will posted?
and two washers?

4 parts total?
What should I be asking for when I call the parts store?

on each side..... one inner nut with dowl built in. one keyed washer(with holes in it for dowel). and one outter nut(no dowel)

The two locking nuts and washer are pictured in the link I put up.

You will also need to reuse the C-clip you already have. I believe there are a couple splined washers that usually go between the end of the spindle snout and the c-clip, but most people don't use them.

Been there, done that :D Yeah you need the wheel bearing nuts along with the thrust washers and the c-clips.

One minute I think I understand what I need and what I need to do. Then the next I'm confused again.

Parts i need to acquire:
2 'doweled' nuts (one per side)
2 non-doweled nuts (one per side)
2 doweled washers (one per side)

parts i'm re-useing(?):
c-clips

Sorry for having to hold my hand......:dunno:

Tomorrow is the Friday before a long weekend. I need to get the required parts.

I think you've got it except for the thrust washers, they go on the axle shafts and are held against the spindle by the c clips.

pull all the crap off the spindle from the auto hubs use the auto hub socket and follow the above instructions. you will need for EACH side one inner spindle nut (9th picture down). one funny looking washer with holes in it and a tooth sticking down that rests in the slot on the spindle (picture 12). one outer spindle nut that gets tightened against the funny looking washer (picture 13). finally there is a smaller toothed washer that fits over the end of the shaft and is held in place by the same c-clip the shaft was with the auto hubs. everything except the c-clip and MAYBE the toothed washer need to be purchased (cant recall). follow the instructions in my link and you will be OK. make shure you have BOTH sockets for installing and removing automatic hubs and manual hubs because you will break something and/or get a huge headache if you dont.
