Do stock jeep xj coils give any lift? If so how much? I know that 3" xj lift coils do about 4" of lift on a ranger, so could using stock ones be like a soft riding leveling coil?:icon_idea:

i don't think a 3" xj coil will do a 4" lift on a ranger..

not when a lot of guys are running a 6" xj spring for 4-5 inches of lift. maybe i'm the one that's wrong tho, i've been wrong twice today on trs already lol

I'm running a 6.5" spring for about 5.5" of lift.

Really? Then how did this guy get 4" of lift out of a 3" xj coil?:icon_confused:
What ppi are your springs?

i have some stock tj coils you could have for the price of shipping... lol

Well I guess that answers my question... Dang.
I was thinking it would be handy to have a soft spring that would level a ranger...
Thanks for your help guys!

for going fast you want stock spring rate with a longer spring, and good shocks to control the spring

Good to know:icon_thumby:
But don't most prerunners/race trucks have like 250-350ppi springs?
