California is a JOKE, the taxes are INSANE, IMO I know of many people that buy OUT OF STATE to avoid the taxes. Illegals drive around and "hit and run" if they bump your truck, good luck.

The only thing I would go there for is the taco trucks...and listening to the "435" amateur repeater.

I must admit it is a very exciting place to live, desert, Gay district in San Fransisco, legal drug use, Illegal aliens, beaches, earthquakes, mountains, bike trails, taco trucks, technology, City of Maywood, Technology, insane house prices, ham radio operators, and the 405!

Overall California received alot of money from me this year and none of it voluntary. Yes illegal aliens are a problem but they supply our state with some decent female offspring. I would rather live in LA then in San Fran, because the bay gets "hyphy"

It's 30 dollars here I think. something like that. When I lived in Kansas they made you pay property tax on your vehicle when you got plates, it got expensive. A guy I knew said he paid like 2500 or so on his Dodge. It was a brand new cummins, but still. I was in the Army and didn't have to go through that, thankfully.

Cali is big tax hugger. So is New York also. I just got my Ranger tags renewed and driver license renewed. All for a whopping $65. Now the strange thing is, when I have to go renew the tags for the KLX250s (motorcycle), I know it will cost me around $100.

I got the three month temp tag for 30 bucks . but the "free inspection didn't work out in my favor. I had to have a level 2 because the door sticker is so faded that it's unreadable and that costed $30. For some reason the dash/under windshield vin isn't good enough....bullshit. after November 25 I will have to pay a rediculous amount of money because I moved here from another state

His is a '08 not an '83. I just renewed my Explorer..........$38.

When I had my '83 a few years back, I put "collectors" plates on it. $38 and good forever. That was nice until I cut up the truck.

mine are 55 for the 150 and Frampton, 15 or so for the motorcycle, and 10 for the moped that i didnt renew. when i had the ranger it was 55. it was a 98 and then my mom bought a 99 sploder and it was 85. haha.
