Installed slave and line. All I need is a union and that will be done.

Copper plugs. Previous owner used the same.

The firewall had to be massaged a bit, and a hole cut for the shifter.

Dustin, I would swap out the stainless hardware on the headers, they are less than grade 2 and could break under expansion from the heat cycle. Use a steel bolt with a lock washer and antiseize...

i was always told that stainless was the strongest you could get:icon_confused:, I guess I learn something new everyday.

sent with a Rooted "Good Morning America" and a broken windshield.

Stainless and cast dont get along either. Need to use a lot of anti sieze

Today I permanently mounted the AC bracket, permanently ran fuel lines in the engine bay, and started messing with the TB. Swapped over the IAC and swapped the TPS from my truck. Also tried to cut and weld the tab on the opposite side, but apparently the spring is on a plastic spacer and it melted it to the spring. Oops, now for plan B. But I don't know what that is yet.

SN95, Explorer, and Ranger TPS

Removed the intake and finished up all the vacuum lines. Also removed the TB spacer and installed the throttle cable. Getting pretty close to having the engine bay all wrapped up.

So I spent my afternoon trying to figure out why it won't run. It will try and stumble and die. It will run for a second if I add starting fluid. It will run for a second if I cover half of the MAF housing. When it does run it sounds like its sucking too much air and its choking, but it won't even try with the throttle open.

The only thing that is different is that I swapped out the SN95 intake for the Foxbody and Explorer TB.

Sounds like a bad vacuum leak? Fuel pressure good? Timing?

Timing hasn't been touched. I'm getting fuel out the return line so as long as the regulator is good then I have good fuel pressure.

But I agree it sounds like a vac leak.

Un plug the iac to help with the sucking for now.

Is you map plugged into vacuum or just open?
