So I finally get the car together and running. Been taking it to a few local shows after FF13. So what to do now? Tear it all apart of course!
Current state:
Stock 95 5.0 HO
95 F150 ECU
Foxbody upper intake
MSD cap, rotor, and coil
Massive plug wires
Build plans:
97 Explorer block (have)
Forged internals (have)
GT40 heads (have)
1.6 roller rockers (have)
Wolverine cam (have)
Explorer OBDII wiring harness (have)
Distributorless swap (have)
Coil on plug (have)
4.6 ECU (have auto, need manual)
F150 lower intake (have)
M90 Eaton supercharger (have)
More bracing to motor and rear axle
Swap from solid trans mount to poly (have)
Still need head gaskets, Mustang oil pan and pickup, and to custom make a whole new wiring harness.
You may be asking why use a 4.6 ecu? Why not use the Explorer ecu? Because there is no manual 5.0 OBDII Explorers, but there are 4.6s. Plus the wiring is fairly close.
Now on to the pictures.
