disciplerocks's B2 build thread

But like I said they disappear in the engine bay

Ok I got it turn over by the key. But still no start.

Also found the clutch line I need on Azs website. They $90 for that thing. And I'd have to buy a master cylinder too. Now I need to decide to blow $130-140 on that or break down and drop the tranny and spend $60 on a different slave.

She runs! I cracked open the distribution box again and started chasing wires. Apparently the EEC wire going to the 2.9 box didn't have power to it. So the comp wasn't getting power. I didn't notice the relay not turning on because I was hearing the fuel pump relay and didn't notice the other not clicking.. I wired the EEC relay straight to the battery and voila. Now for a bunch of soldering and tucking.

Good for you, now it's just that pesky clutch problem.

I would ask if you could use the master cylinder off a 88 Ranger, but I cut the line down where it ran into the transmission.

I am just going to fork over the money for the master cylinder and the clutch line. Easier then dropping the tranny and I will have the comfort of knowing they are new and wont have to replace them down the road.

Glad ya got the pacemaker transplant going!!

Me too. She is far from driveable, but its a good fealing knowing its runs so the worst part is past me.

If, and thats a big IF, I ever have a problem with my axles, I'll just D44 TTB it. I would prefer to stay away from a solid axle.

Finally found a place I could get the hydraulic line. Pep Boys, Autozone, Oreilly, Advance, and Rockauto all either didn't carry it or were out of stock at the distributor. Napa got it ordered for me and will be here Sat for $65 which is $25 cheaper than everyone else, but Rockauto :yahoo:
