I have no way to cap them. And I will be adding some gussets at a later date. Need some smaller tube.

And why do you need them? Can you possibly do MORE damage? Lol.

they are going to need alot of gusseting out that far, drop on a rock and it just going to push up into the cab

The welds are messy, but its cheap, gasless, and 110v.

Thanks. Thats just for the hitch receiver to be mounted in. Still a bit to go before its finished.

the way i capped mine, was that i took a cheap bolt with a washer the same size as my tube.....

tacked the bolt to the washer....

held onto the bolt while i tacked the washer to the tube....

then took a cut off wheel and cut the protruding bolt....

welded her all up....

and yeah you will need to add some more tube to strengthen it up.....

looks like a really good start though...
