disciplerocks's B2 build thread


I ran a mini spool for about three hrs. Trailerd my ranger truggy from Michigan to Harlan, drove up the one side of the mt and down the other. Hit the little waterfall obstacle, driving to drive up I slid back and bounced down and broke the hardened cross pin spinning the mini spool in the carrier. Thankfully I brought a spare carrier with welded spiders so it didn't ruin my week.

I will never run a mini spool again, my $.02.
 
That depends in what driveshaft you have. A double cardan you need close to zero at axle. A single joint at both ends you need close to same angle at axle and t-case. I think that is what I read.

This is correct. Don't account for axle wrap, eliminate it with a traction bar.

that's a big old weld there. maybe i need to make another pass on mine
 
I was trying to get the most coverage with my 110V.
 
So glad the forum is back up.

Took the rotors to work and drilled the holes. I've decided I need a drill press.

yeah, i've been eyeballing their bench top drill press for the last few months. i just need to stop spending the money on something else first.
 
Finally got to take her out today, but of course now I am having tranny issues. It drives just fine, but if I try to engine brake down a hill it almost acts like its in neutral and grinds really bad. Oh well its the last thing on her thats stock. Time for it to go.
