Your book is wrong.....70-85 ft lbs for both the ring gear and cap bolts.

My Yukon and Sierra books both say .011-.016 and 60ftlbs

Well sounds like its in spec. Thanks for the help.

I did make a mistake and had to pull the whole thing apart again. I didn't install the ring gear where the shaved teeth would allow the pin to be removed. Lesson learned.

And Greg, my texts have been all screwed up. Tried texting you again and it wouldn't go through. And its been hit and miss with receiving them too.

There's no room. And I got her tight enough that it only raises to the top of the seat. I was afraid of getting probed myself.

What did you ge the ebrake setup out of?

The handle is from a Windstar. Cables from an Explorer. I was lucky enough to find a set that weren't locked up.
