disciplerocks's B2 build thread

You need to build a removeable external cage for the side glasses, may save you some time and money in the long run.

Nice flex in the last pic btw.

Seeing your B2 just makes me want to get one so bad.

The BII did good, I was impressed. Me and Kevin ran 19 after you left and didn't leave until 6pm.

i like that last pic.. lol.

to bad about the rear window. ever think of replacing it w/ anything else?

well, that would probably be a pain in the .... yeah i think i'd just put glass back in it.

Nice pics Dustin nice to see the BII back in action. At least you have some practice with replacing the window now. Exo-cage in the near future?

I would make some tree sliders, there was someone else on here somewhere that had the same problem, three bars running across the window should do it.

Looks good Dustin...I'd say the rear end was put together correctly....You don't hear any howling or anything, do you?? Also, ever thought of 1/4 plexiglass for the replacement of side windows??

Thanks guys. Yeah I would go lexan/plexi windows if they didnt curve. I'll just go pull another. Its only $10 for one.

Glad I didnt stick around for 19. I would like to do it, but sometime when its less crowded and not right after a rain. Probably wouldn't hurt to have a good winch too.

No noise from the rear, but I'm starting to get some chatter from the clutch. And it doesn't have much play in the pedal anymore.

Harbor Freight has the Badlands 9K winch (which was compared to the Warn 9K) for only $249 with coupon, I have 3 coupons if you want one...lol

Wonder how long it would last though?

^I'd get the warrenty for the extra $20

It actually beat the Warn in comparison, both had the same brand parts, both were put through the tests of load pulls, weather, etc...I forget where the Badlands exceeded against the Warn, and I was surprised to see an off-brand name winch could compare to Warn...But HF normally has that winch for 499, and I have a few $200 off coupons for that winch...

Thats pretty much what I had in mind too. But it needs to be removable incase the window still needs replaced. That still wouldn't have saved it yesterday because of the way it got hit.
