disciplerocks's B2 build thread

Lol. Where's gwaii when you need him.

Or maybe I can just keep making the drivetrain longer and eliminate the rear driveshaft. Just bolt the last case to the rear axle.

yeah, you'd have to cut up the axle beam somehow so the knuckle was on the right side of the diff. i'm sure it could be done but i wouldnt know where to start

Just use the pig, then build the rest of the beams out of tube like the Jeep TTB thread over on Pirate.

I just may need one or two more cases in my floor....

Dustin, what will you want for that M45?? I have a gwaii idea I want to try out...No, I'm not thinking about putting it on my push lawnmower....:D

I haven't fully decided what direction I am going with that. I may still swap in the 62, or not. I am swapping the head for sure with the one I have decked. May just see what that nets me with the 45. But if I do end up swapping it, I'd like to keep the 45. But I'll keep an eye out for another M62 if you want me to.

Well, as of right now, I want 2 62's for sure for SVT, and possibly a third 62 if you happen to come across one. Actually, I think you will like what I have in mind for the 45, and if you swap the 62 in, you can use either one for my plans. I might borrow the 62 you have to see if what I'm thinking will work, and if it will, I'll give you the 62 (or 45) back, if your ok with that...I really only need yours for a mockup and trial run. It won't be used on a motor though....

You are welcome to use the 62 now. But I hacked it in half.

After, the M62 and the M45:

As long as its still usable as a charger, it will work for my plans...

It no longer has an internal bypass valve, but other than that yeah. My setup has the bypass in the manifold.

Sounds good. I actually would need the bypass valve bypassed or removed for this project, so it's perfect...when I get back I will have to pass by and borrow it for a little bit...

Wont work, nothing to support the center u-joint

Right, plus I realized the u-joint on female end of the slip joint is too small for the t-case yoke.

It has to have the valve somewhere or you'll be in boost at idle.
