Diesel powered, ALL FORD 05 Ranger

Got a camera mount today. His name is Richard. LOL Went for a drive. Have a tranny issue, won't find anything but third and reverse. WHen it came on boost once, it came on HARD. However it wouldn't boost hard here because my Alt is part time working and it dropped to about 11 volts. It still pulled pretty hard though.

that thing sounds SICK. period.

Found a 3rd place in the drivers side manifold, that was tapped. It was wide open.......oooops. LOL Stuck an EGT probe in it to seal it off, and no more exh leak.

Turns out the transmission is not getting power to the solenoids. Probably a grounding issue. Its been struck in 5th gear without the tc locked up. Imagine waht its gonna feel like in first, second third, and fourth if 5th gear felt strong. LOL

Made some progress today. I have power to the Tranny, and its grounded, but it won't do anything other than park, R, N, and 5th. I am gonna have that fixed ASAP. I had a bad alternator the first time, but as you can see, its fixed.

Also moved the Glow plug module to the firewall, to clean up the swpace where it set. And Yes, I know there is a nut missing. LOL

u didn't get the idea to do this from Max lagod and his 6.0 powered Spal Racing Ford Ranger by chance did u? good work by the way too looks great!

I spoke with Max a few times, after I had started, but no I didn't get the idea from him.

Surely there aren't two of you with the same twisted imagination!

Apparently. LOL

The only "nut" missing is YOU behind the wheel!

Waiting for the SWWWWEEEETT burn out video to hit the WWW!

Truly an awesome piece of work you have!

What made you use foam for a form for your hood. I have always used cardboard to cut shape and pin together the glass is up that way. There is less sanding and mess to worry about. By the way I do composites for a living for Military Aircraft. Not some backwoods guys in his garage.
