Well, not good, never got it off the trailer.
Got it back, and got it ready to pull out. FML, can't believe I just typed that.
Anyway, this is what I found in the oil screen under the cooler. If someone can figure out WTF the black chit is, please let me and the rest of the world know, its everywhere. I know what the Copper is.
Its very soft, almost feels like paper, but has the consistency of graphite.
The guy that built the motor has been building Race motors exclusively for 25+ years, and Everyone will point you to him for a motor. He built my boat motors, and builds Nitromethane, alcohol, turbo motors, blower motors, etc. (he used to build Don Garlitts motors FWIW). He knows his chit is what I am getting at. He has not had a chance to look at it yet, but will Monday. I'm just plane baffled, but clearly I am looking at a complete tear down, a ton of cleaning, new injectors, and at the very least, new bearings for the motor, and rebuilding both turbos. I want it done yesterday, and I certainly want it by TS, (the new one). Given the fact that the oil has to pass through that Screen to fire the injectors, and it was literally clogged solid, we were not getting the full power out of it.
Oh well, it is what it is, but that doesn't make it suck any less.
