detroit or powertrax

^^ No one makes a limited slip for the D35
The Aussie is very steetable, it will click around turns when the t-case isn't engaged but no other ill effects.
We don't get snow down here so i can't tell you how it would do on the road in 4hi, but on the trail it won't turn as tight as it used to and takes some getting used to.

go to the trs fab and offroad shop. They got awesome deals. I can redo both front and rear diffs with loc-rights front and rear, 4.56 yukon gears f/r, master install kits for both, ect for 1600 shipped. Go to the top of the page and its the last tab on the right.

yeah i just found that page.. this site is awsome! lol i thought it was just a forum, i love this place now!! woo hoo this is gona be fun, everything thats made for the ranger is in there, i been searching no lie for 3 months for stuff like this and its been here all along. woot... this will help me with my lift too! thanx guys!!

since I helped you find the offroad shop you can buy me a loc-right for my d35 now. Its in the rules when you signed up. Gimme a loc-right lol

lol, ill be sure to do that.. i do have a off topic quick question and since this seems to be the thread of the hour i mine as well ask now. the truxx leveling kit, all that dose is raise your tbars correct? it says 3inches my truck looks pretty leveled i think my tbars are cranked all the way (driver side is all the way to the frame, passenger side is half way) if i raise the front 3 inches its gona look dumb.. i do however notice i am an inch taller then all other rangers i pull up to at stop lights. just need some clarification on this. makes me wonder if my truck is raised..

The TRUXX kit replaces the factory t-bar adjuster cams so you can crank them farther then the factory adjusters.
IMHO stay away from them, the ride will stiff as hell, the ball joints and cv's deteriorate rapidly, and you won't have any suspension down travel.
Look at it this way- jack up the front by the cross member and the tires hang at full drop, with the leveling kit this how the truck now rides.

so whats the cheapest way to lift the truck without getting a superlift?

Probably a bodylift, the IFS trucks are not very cheap get a suspension lift for.

i dont want a body lift cause it dosent give the frame anymore clearence.. also trying to match the bumpers and my hitch is going to suck..

so all i can do is crank the tbars and what maybe ad blocks? wich i already have cause its a 4x4..

cant i ad shackles or somthing? guys on RF talk about it all the time

also whats IFS?

Well then aside from maybe getting a inch or two out of your factory torsion bars and a add-a-leaf, different springs or a shackle for the rear you are pretty much stuck aside from getting a regular lift kit (like the superlift you mentioned)

Most body lift kits include brackes to move the bumpers, and you can get different receivers that come out at the right place too, but like you said the frame sits about where it does now except from the small lift from the bigger tires.

I don't know if you have found this yet, but there is alot of info here: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/index.php

89-98 Chevy lowering shackles will raise the rear of a Ranger about 2 inches, but there is NO cheap way to raise the front.
IFS= Independent Front Suspension.

Jmhm17 if your running lockers f/r or even a l/s ( limited slip ) in the rear end and a locker in the front unless your doing some serious off roading or rock crawling you are going to have more than enough traction to do what ever you want to get into.. with that said i think that you will be suprised at where you rig will take you without a lift.

Great Thread!

You guys answered alot of my questions on lockers, I have been thinking of putting one in my truck
Thanks again

I'm sorry but what is the difference between the Lock-Right and the No-Slip made by Richmond? They both look similar, I've had the No-Slip (8.8 gear) in mine for 35,000 miles and have never regreted getting it. Got my latest one from Rocky Mountain 4x4 for around $400.
