Just did new tie rods and alignment and I have death wobble now. Do you think upper and lower ball joints and wheel bearings will help?

If your ball joints where bad then they wouldnt be able to do an allignment in the first place. But what vehicle do you have to start with

death wobble? with a ttb 28?

need a tighter definition of that bud.

Yes ttb 28. So here are a few details. I just did the tie rod ends. I wish I could show everyone. Worst I've ever seen. I measured my wheels front then back and made then the same so I would drive straight(alignment) now it had a death wobble. I think my ball joints and wheel bearings need replaced. already got the parts. But I just want to kbow what changed. Maybe I just didn't feel the wobble before because thr tie rod ends were that sloppy? Idk. Also I popped a tire off the bead in a mud hole and re beaded it on the trail so im sure there is mud and water in it. Could that have any affect? Please help

mmmm.....i see.

you need to properly set the toe.

i do a rolling toe set...no issues that way.:icon_thumby:

Ok, lets back up a few steps and dumb down the questions....

I messed with something and now it's messed up. What changed?

Well, what did you change?

You replacing your tie rods did not wear out your ball joints and wheel bearings.

Slop in the tie-rod will not hide slop in the ball joints and wheel bearings. It will make it feel worse.

A lot of toe-out will have serious consequences to your handling. Get it aligned properly. With an alignment rack. What you did is called "Kentucky Windage" not "alignment".

Usually 3 things can contribute to DW

bad toe setting

not enough castor

loose components (tie rods or trac bar bushings...in your case beam bushings possibly)

"Also I popped a tire off the bead in a mud hole and re beaded it on the trail so im sure there is mud and water in it."

Did you have the "death wobble" before or after you put mud and water in your tire? Front tire?
"Death wobble" or death vibration
At what speed(s)?

Drove fine 65 down the high way. After wheelibg one night I noticed my tie rods were destroyed so I changed them and I do have an alignment tool and did it all correct. Now it has a death wobble. I just keep repeating myself and getting no answers lol it has death wobble at about 45 and haven't tried to power through it like some people do

I say it's the mud in the tire.

You might not have noticed it at first because it hadn't yet turned into a solid mass inside the tire overnight.
