I'm doing this all in my parent driveway. Still"live" with them but will hopefully be moving in with the fiancee on a few months.
Excited yes, nervous, you bet. I got a time lapse app for my phone so hopefully make a time lapse of me doing this along with pictures.

Where did you get the pipe?

Off ebay from summit. Google ball socket exhaust pipe and after a bit more looking, its a ball socket exhaust flange header extension. It came with 3 bolt flanges.

One day away from starting the 302 swap, have a million things running through my head and sure to have a few of those "what the hell am I doing" moments. Today job is to get the valve covers put on the engine and all of the tools ready. In theory, I can have all of the drive train out the first day and stuff ready to drop in the next day...if all goes smoothly that is.

Got the valve covers mounted up and the bypass hose hooked up too.

looking forward to pics of the swap. keep it up.

Will do. I'm more nervous about this then my SAS for some reason, or just as excited.

I will say if something is in my way, such as the floor boards, its getting cut out if the way, in a proper manner of course.

LOL, there is nothing "proper" about what your about to do.

Its ford engine and ford trans going into a ford ranger so its at least proper there. As for proper for the street and whatnot, that's another thing.
