Well the passenger side screws stripped out of the bed and what it would do is gong down the road flap a bit and smack my tail gate non stop. I like the look of the older style tail gates and filling the holes that are left behind wont be to hard. Bondo the holes that you see as your behind it and the ones in the bed will be welded shut due to the metal is thicker.
Oh ya if anybody hasnt seen this, my next idea for the truck...daul alternators...more details are in the tailgate forum under the thread I made named Dual Alternators.
Not much of a mod to the truck but more of a safety thing and a better way to record videos while driving now and whatnot. IMO, was worth the $5 bucks.
Bought the light bar fog lights may just run 2 of them but heres a picture of what they will look like on the truck. They are just resting on the light bar for now.
It is and that is on the todo list of to fix. It use to be straight but then the weight of it over time and driving made it do that. Its just one of those things that if it isnt hurtoing anything, Im not messing with it at the moment.
Had to cut away some of the metal of the dash and cut off some plastic backing for the switch to fit.
Total light wattage for the front so far is 420. I know my driverside front orange marker light is out and will be fixing that soon but the turn signal still works.
Well figured I might need one someday so picked up this Reese hitch for $40 at the JY. Wire wheeled it and gave it a coat of paint. Had to take out the underbed truck carrier for it to fit and now I have alot of space under there.
