dangerranger1983 build

I'll get pics tomorrow when I have light outside.

I'll get the steering stabilizer hooked up and the brake lines hose clamped to the long arms. Do another look over of everything to be sure that nothing is binding etc...

Going to the J/Y sometime to get lower coil holders and to sell my D28 as scrap, after my dad gets what he needs off of it.

One thing I will have to do for the next few weeks when I start driving it again is to bleed the brakes every so often.

One thing I need to start doing is rim and tire shopping. Not sure if I want M/T or A/T tires but I know I want black rims.

I knew that's what the responce was going to be. We'll see what deals I can find and how much I have when I go to buy it all next year.

i would almost skip on the factory lower coil hold down's. it may have been my axle but mine went missing within the first month. i ended up making my own that utilizes the bolt hole for the factory bump stop on the jeep axle (center of spring). If your just tryin to get it on the road and do some two track gravel roads im sure they will be fine. just keep an eye on them to make sure they dont back out.

The one's from rusty's use "larger bolts" (self tapping) and it might be worth lookin at drillin out the factory hole and rethreading to accomidate a larger bolt FWIW

Didnt think about mounting spring holders in the center of the coil bucket, might just do that. I will have to re-think my steering stabilizer as it wont allow me to turn right, compresses all the way.

Also my Jeep trackbar mount showed up today, but it will have to wait until next spring when I go and make my custom steering set-up.

Heres updated pictures..........

Ya felt it in my chest, excitment/nerviuosness.

I forgot to say I also need to hook up my steering stablizer (and get a new one soon too).

Was anybody else nerviuos after there SAS?

I'm still nervous:D

Looks good. I would go with BFGoodrich KM2 they are an awesome tire. I was trying to get my hands on a set of them before I found what I have now. KM2 are a better tire but I can't turn down a deal.

Well still waiting till friday (payday) to order my shocks. Until then, got the brake lines clamped to my longarms.

I think that this brakeline set-up should be put in the tech. library.

Oh ya he gets the credit. Saves money and you can literally have your front wheels wrap under the truck to the back and still have working front brakes.

While you are waiting, you should think about some rattle can paint :D

Yes i agree, have to make it all one color
