Going to be at least a months delay. Summit emailed me this morning saying they haven't gotten their shipment from the supplier, wouldn't matter where I bought it from, and won't be shipped out till around 5/31. I can cancel my order if I want still but going to hold out. Now if they were plenty avalible on eBay I would and get one from there but the one I ordered isn't on there.

So on the mean time guess thus well give me time to focus on the exhaust and fuel systems, exhaust being first, it is to far over due to be changed.

Yeah, I saw the system on Spike TV the other day. I really think that's the way to go. Like you said if gives you a options on running the fuel lines and power band. Plus it's all self contained and takes up very little space. Gonna be waiting to see how it goes for you and the videos and pics. Good luck, hope it ships soon.

Best that I do the exhaust first anyways so that I will only have to do the o2 hole one time. Knowing me I would get the setup on my truck and then get lazy and not do anything else that needs improved.

I may end up making my own filler neck return line, I can't justify paying $50 a when I can get a section of new exhaust pipe for alot less and weld in a 90 degree fitting. Hopefully Saturday I can make a junkyard run, if it isn't raining cats and dogs as predicted, and grab a mock up filler neck to test fit the design on but also grab a 5hp briggs engine, maybe 8hp, for my screw cone log splitter project.

just drill a hole in the hose and use flexeel forced into a slightly undersized hole for the return or use a bulkhead fitting....

maybe something like this critter...i use pushlocks generally.

fwiw, i noticed shit gets better mpg in cali...compared to mi.

i suspect it is purely a fuel mix deal. i have had vehicles from there that averaged 18-19 out there and 14-15 here....and vice-versa.

I've always gotten better mpg outside of cali. Especially when they
Switch to summer blend. It's got additives that burn cleaner but drop the mpg. Like 10% ethanol

yeah...az was better.....both better then here.

Just got an email that my efi setup had shipped out so should be to me in 3-4 days, just in time for memorial day weekend. I better get my ass a moving on my exhaust and fuel return setup.

Yes in doing my happy dance btw.

Coming from the guy that made a solar powered rc car.

I'm done with my carb and not going to use 20+ year old efi equipment.

Well I know I'm waiting to see your write up on the install and gains or difference in the EFI set up. Good luck and keep us informed.

Nerd - A person who gains pleasure from amassing large quantities of knowledge about subjects often too detailed or complicated for most other people to be bothered with.

Often mistaken for Geeks, who aspire to become nerds, yet lack the intelligence, and end up giving nerds a bad name due to their poor social skills.

Non-nerds are often scared of nerds, due to their detailed knowledge, and therefore seemingly high levels of intelligence - and subsequently denegrate them as much as possible as often as possible.

Nerds exist covertly within the fabric of society, often choosing to 'nerd it up' in private or in the company of fellow nerds. It is for this reason they are feared the most - unlike geeks, who are easily identified, nerds can only be found out when casual conversation reaches a subject that they like nerding.

So!

You also failed to mention it did 65 mph dick.

For anybody that doesn't know, updates on the truck and my life. Finalized things yesterday and I now own a 2005 Ford escape with the 3.0 duratec.

My bolt on efi setup arrived and I will be putting that on this weekend. Also here's my filler neck return line idea. I also have to get the AN6 fittings to hook the hose to, doesn't come with that.
