Dang social media

I like this thread.

I hate Facebook and refuse to participate although I did try it a while back. What I really hate is businesses having a Facebook page and no website. Especially restaurants. It's not difficult to build a simple web page listing location, hours of operation and menus. At work, our phones and computers are blocked from visiting social media sites. So if the restaurant is only on FB, we can't look up their menu to put together a lunch order.

I know that's minor. I'll find something more worthy to complain about later.

This message composed solely of recycled electrons. Go green!

that is actually a serious issue, one that causes much distress,,,,,,,,,

over my distinguished career (:icon_rofl:) I had to attend many out of town training classes. without fail when it hit lunch time all us students would sit there like idiots and argue for 15 minutes where to get lunch. then complain about lunch break being too short. I'll give my age away, all that was way before smart phones.

by the way, the trick to being neat at a company lunch is to eat the fries first. it's not that they are terribly cold, it's because the time it takes to eat fries gives the grease in the cheeseburger time to solidify so it won't run down your hand. :shok:

I remember back when this place was my social media, (member since June of 2004) when you couldn't reply to posts fast enough, because so many people were on here offering advice. Everyone was respectful, and those that weren't, were removed pretty quickly. I learned so much from this site, and many of the things that I have learned have helped me to better myself professionally as the mechanic that I am now. it's a shame that places like this are going by the wayside over a much more terrible platform. I have a Facebook page, every single person I have friended on there I have met in person, with the exception of a few people from this very site. It seems like many people who are a few years younger than I am thrive on validation, they need that constant ego stroking to make them feel better about themselves. I very rarely post anything on there and mainly use it as a means to keep in touch with friends and family. It is sad that our world has descended into this, where everyone is so concerned with the goings on in everyone else's life, that they don't focus on their own.

I had to leave a few Ranger groups because the same stupid questions that have been asked here for the last 20 years is all that seemed to get posted, no one searches or does the research for themselves, they just want their "will 33s fit with no lift" question asked right now by someone who knows.

I thought facebook was for 14 year old girls? :icon_confused:

I've used it to increase my own pay by joining groups related to my industry.

I’m glad Facebook works for you. Personally, I hate it and the way it wastes people’s time.

A free SMM panel is an alluring chance for people and companies to use social media marketing services without paying any money. Users can improve their social network profile without spending any money thanks to these panels' free services, which include likes, follows, comments, and shares.
What the actual **** is wrong with you?
