My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
When the alarm rang yesterday morning, I was sore and achy all over, congestion, slight headache. It hurt just to move. I haven't felt that awful in over 15 years. Waited until 30 minutes before my shift and texted my supervisor "I won't be in for a few days". From then until midday today, I haven't been out of the bed except to put the dog out or use the restroom myself. I asked mom to get me a couple things from the grocery store. She also brought me a Covid test and made me take it. Positive. Ok. So now we know. I was already self-isolating, getting lots of rest and drinking lots of water. Let's just get through this mess. Honestly, I'm surprised it took me this long to get it.

I'm sorry to hear that, and hope that you get over it quickly.

Bummer, hope you just have a mild case of it. I've had it three times that I tested for, possibly one more that I was fairly sick and just didn't test. Seems like I get it once every 6 months. Only been pretty mild so far.

Hoping you can get over it quick and get back to tinkering

Oof - I hope you feel better soon. Rest well!

Ugh... get well soon, drink plenty of fluids

Man... I got rocked by it at Christmas.

Speedy recovery my friend...

Get better!

Get yourself better!
Suspect I had variations of the damned C'rona at least a couple of times in the last 2years,
felt like routine runny nose colds, just lasted longer. Never tested, though did get the shots.
Somebody made a few billion dollars on those useless vaccines.

Best wishes Eric, I hope you can find comfort in remembering the body is an ingenious contraption with exceptional abilities in warding off intruders, try and give it the help it needs there and good luck. Get well soon man

Sorry to hear it man. Get well soon. I made till right before Christmas last year before catching it.

Bummer, get better soon. I was a little under the weather Tuesday I think it was, Wednesday I was absolutely miserable. Took a Covid test and was negative, it’s just a particularly nasty sinus infection. Talked to my Dr yesterday on a video chat and he said he’s been seeing a lot of sinus infections that are lasting 2 weeks or more lately. Really hope I don’t have to deal with this that long. That said, I’m also downwind from the East Palestine disaster, probably no more than 40 miles as the crow flies…

Well, I went back to work Saturday. Still have lingering congestion/ hacking up slimy stuff. But, otherwise, back to about 90% of "my normal".

Now, back to my previously scheduled life.
