i hate junkyards like that my local one wont sell whole vehicles either

its in amazing condition although it has the 2.8

They usually won't sell them whole is because they don't have the title.

Just buy the body, then go back and buy the frame.
While the body is off the frame, you can easily do a 4.0 or 302 swap and lift it to sky and add some 35" Boggers. :icon_thumby:

That and sum of the parts is usually worth more than the whole.

my friend just sold them a totalled bronco II and they woulndt take it at first because the guy that gave it to him didnt change the title into my friends name, so they got it faxed and they didnt even take that because the signature was faxed, so the guy that gave it to him had to mail it to my friend

Correct. I don't know about other states, but in Texas it is illegal for a salvage yard to take a vehicle without a title. For a while they would take it if you cut the vehicle up in pieces, but they won't even do that now. According to a friend in the salvage business, the state is really strict on them with a hefty fine.

Also, selling copper, cat converters, and most any high dollar item that is easily removed, you have to leave a copy of your drivers license.

Copper and cat converter theft here is epidemic. If the car doesn't have a cat, way less money. Also, most won't take it unless you remove the gas tank.:)shady
