D35 Ball Joints - Moog or Duralast?

i know what you mean about the moog boots sucking, but its not actually the boot that sucks. its the fact that moog doesnt press the boot onto the joint and they make you try to press it on yourself. they use a little metal band impregnated into the rubber of the boot which helps it resist poping off and leaking grease, but if you dont press it onto the joint all the way then it does no good.

Not sure about them having metal bands on them... (the stock ones were like that)

They suck because the cheap rubber splits open after a mere 6 months, letting dirt and crap get into the joint (one of mine is now failing because of that :annoyed: )

Spicer uses a different material for theirs (urethane, I think).

yep, all about the spicer pro grade. There are a few other also that are the same joint just boxed in a diffrent box.
But you cant bet the open to the public price rockauto has for 27 bucks ea.

and serach(google) out the coupon code for 5%-10% off even better.

Napa's extreme duty, McQuay-Norris Extreme, are spicer pro grade, just in a diffrent box.......the ones with the blue boots.
