1 will my b2's rear driveshaft be the same lenth as the one for my 7.5 when i swap in my 31 spline 8.8? (b2 is currently not lifted more than 2 inches)

2 how much do i need to have taken out of my front driveshaft to swap in my d35 AND whats the best way to make my front shaft bolt up? (pair the old shaft and new shaft together or get a 1354 t-case)

3 for the time being i am planing on welding my spiders till i have time and money to swap in my 8.8. will i need to re-set anything on the R&P if i pull the ring and carrier to weld it?

i am planing to have a shop cut down 2 explorer driveshafts to my specs so i need to know what to tell them to do.

Your stock driveshaft will not bolt up to the 8.8" flange (bolt pattern is different). You'll probably want to just go ahead and get the Explorer shaft shortened to fit at the same time you do the swap (length will be the same as stock however).

2
1" shorter on the stock front shaft (if you swap in a 1354, then you can bolt in the driveshaft straight from the same donor as the case & axle)

3
Make sure you put all the carrier shims back EXACTLY as they came out, and you should be fine (watch that they don't fall out while removing the carrier)
