Cybertruck Reveal

73-79 Ford trucks are literally the most perfect trucks ever built IMO.

Sexy, tough as nails, easy to wrench on, and capable of anything 99% of the population wants to do.

No no

Bed isn’t deep enough, neighbors truck has more power, not enough faux leather and no WiFi.

1985.... how much have you guys been drinkin' tonight?

Take 10 years off of that. I like my junk powered by big ol happy healthy shadetree friendly fuel-slobberin CARBS not that first-gen computer controlled "feedback" crap. We're just about two decades into the 21st century and you're telling me you guys prefer using computers built 35 years ago? Every car I've had except for the old Explorer & Mazda have needed new computers. The ones on my desk barely last 5-7 years before giving up the magic smoke and you want me to get half a century out of one in a dirty, dusty, oil soaked engine bay?

Only points '85 gets regard the first quality pump-free cats, and yes, I do run cats even with carbs for the sake of everyone around me. 35 years of advancement has made the things a bit more trustworthy and a bit finicky, all well and good in the age of the cell phone & tow truck.

Computers is fancy thinkin boxes.

They'll never catch on... Just a fad.

Wanna have fun, take the phone away from someone under 30 and ask them what 9 x 9 is...

You can't take one away from a 30 year old...there permanently attached. If removed the user than just roams around in a death stupor.

the battery bank......huge fawker.....

not cheap...

not easy to maintain.

geo thermal among-st other ridiculous efficiencies these days knocking actual home usage down immensely.. small things like all led lighting and gas tankless heater and boiler heat for the house knock power demand down....with highest efficiency appliances....charging teslas or fords in my case just aint a big deal....

i have 4000 sq feet of roof to work with.

mid to fast charging a ev daily is easily done off of a large bank..... winter or summer...rain or shine. with 4k on tap its a non issues....but maintaining a bank that large would be a hideous kick in the berries.

and the 200k to build it makes 15 dollar a gallon gas look reasonable.
I'd love to have an off-grid setup like that, but I'd use it to run my home not charge a car.

The one that looks "interesting" looks like a garbage truck to me.

I like the blue one
