Ok guys, I have a 83-88 (only description when i bought it) on what was a dual plug block. I want to say the block is a 94 (due to a 94 timing belt fitting teeth perfect). My truck is a 86 2.3 I used all the same setup from my old cracked 86 head and put on my new head. I am having a hard timing finding where the crank sensor plugs into on my harness or where ever it goes. So far havent came across any other problems beside that. Appreciate any help!!

Crank sensor goes to the ignition module on a distributorless engine.
Engines with distributors didn't use a crank sensor, they used the distributor sensor to time fuel injectors and spark.

Ok so im guessing I wont need it since i am putting my old distributor in the newer block? Th block had coil packs originally

Yes, that is correct, you won't need it if you install a distributor

ok...now you have your answer and i have mine...never mind my other post...

for future reference...it is considered proper etiquette to only post in one thread...one question...once you have an answer, you can post another question...
