corona vaccine side effects

So just like most vaccines it can cause symptoms of the disease it protects against because the symptoms aren't from the disease, they are from the body's immune response. Got it?

Guinea pigs..... gotta love 'em.....

You take your rational thinking and get out! There's no room for that here.

Anybody had their shingle shots? 2 doses, many folks feel crappy after getting each shot - still beats getting shingles

I got the first one. It made my arm rather sore for a few days. Not quite time for shot #2 yet.

I'll be one of the first one's taking the corona vaccine. I don't as of yet know when it will actually be available, some say a month, some say spring. But first doses are going to those who are in the high risk catagory for complications and or death from getting the virus, and health care workers. My mother's nursing home informed them their staff and immediate family members are on the priority list so ill get one. Regular flu shots can give you a reaction (mine made my arm sore for a few days) so I see no reason to make a big deal about it.

The Media has alot of power over the effectiveness of a vaccine. Remember the Lyme disease vaccine? Probably not because it was only available for about 18 months 20 years ago before the media sensationalized the side effects. The FDA did a huge study on the effects and found no cause for concern but the damage was done. People read all the scary headlines and no one would take it causing the company that produced it to simply abandon the whole project. We now have no Lyme vaccine and no one will ever try to make it again. If the media starts hyping up the side effects again the same may happen with the coronavirus vaccine. If you make everyone afraid of it, no one will take it and it's completely useless.

Take the shot, maybe you'll feel like crap for a day or two. You've probably eaten burritos with worse side effects.

Big question is which one is going to be available first? I'm getting one as soon as I can - by the time I'm eligible any side effects should be well documented.

I just had my second pneumonia shot and this years flu shot, one in each arm.....hurts and I felt crummy for two days.....I won't be getting the Covid shot for some time after it's released (my doc speculates that it may be 12 months after release-one of the side effects of living a rural life).

Yea it's not a matter of when it's released. After it's finally approved for widespread use outside of trials they still need to make hundreds of millions of them. First batches will be dedicated for hospitals, nursing homes, and high risk individuals so the general public won't have access for quite some time after that. It's also an international effort, the two companies that are ready for final approval will also be providing the vaccine to other countries not just the U.S. We don't exactly have total dibs on all the shots being made. Whoever the main company is that is doing it never actually accepted any money from the U.S government to produce it so it's not like we own it.

IMO that company has a patriotic duty to focus its efforts on america first.

China should be at the end of the vaccine list.

Why? Its an international company and used international resources to create it. It's not "MADE IN AMERICA". Germany, The U.K, Italy, ect all took part in creating it. If it was fully backed, funded and created in America by Americans you'd have a good argument. But it simply wasn't. I totally get your point, but there's just no way you can claim dibs on something worked on globally.

China, Russia and those commie countries are not a part of it and have worked independently. They will not be getting it or benefiting from it at all except possibly shared research after the fact. Russia already has their own vaccine in production.

You can wave the flag all you want, but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is how much money you have.

That’s why communism doesn’t work

AND that’s why the Chinese government will be some of the first people to get it.

Tell me I’m wrong.

China caused this. They should be paying for everything and the vaccine should be withheld from them until they at very minimum clean up their eating practices.
