Cooling fan doesnt come on after initial startup

...or if you do a lot of deep mudding clean your radiator, a radiator filled with mud doesn't help.

x2 my buddy's girlfriend's jeep was overheating on a regular basis, (every day) and we couldn't figure it out, the motor was running great, changed the thermostat several times... radiator looked fine on visual inspection, no major dents or fins bent, but turned out to be the number of bugs that had died on the radiator and dust and dirt from daily driving, plugged the small air passage ways and it didn't cool anymore

Turned out to be the fan clutch, changed it out and she cools great now, no more overheating! Thanks everyone
