so, after the in-laws left i wentoutside to work on my truck. MOnday it decided to keep the tstat closed for too long and turned me into a giant rolling steam bomb goin doen the hwy. SO a new tstat was put in and i mostly finished the system flush. Ill button that up tommorow BUT.. while i was in there i found out why my front end has been squeaking and creeking, and thumping around.

YAY, something else to do...i love my truck:icon_thumby:

Well, at least you can fix the bracket without too much work...looks like it just needs a new bolt...

Hey that's just a little bit less work that you have to do to pull it...

It may need work, but at least it doesn't bitch at you like a girl would.

Thats how things seem to work for me to, you start with one thing and next thing you know theres like 3 other things to fix. Then after a few years you get tired of it all and buy another vehicle and start all over again.

what would be the benefit of pulling the sway bar...im lost:icon_confused:

Yeah, me too, unless it's an off-road thing. Personally, I want LESS body-roll, but mine's a street rig.

It allows the ttb front end more flex with the sway bar removed. You will lose some on road quality but its worth it in my opinion. Only added a small amount of body when my truck was still in stock form...you get used to it

well, i have the single a-arm suspension under my truck, so i don't think that pulling the sway bar will be beneficial to me, just gotta find a metric bolt, then im good to go

Whats a sway bar??
