Hello,
I tried looking through the posts and searched but did not really find what I was looking for so I thought I'd post.
I have a '91 Ranger XLT 4x4 4.0L with the M50D 5 sp. manual transmission and about 145,000 miles on it. I am in the process of rebuilding the trans and was wondering whether I should replace the clutch slave cylinder while I'm in there? I've owned the truck for about a year and I have not had any issues with the slave cylinder. It worked fine and did not leak. I bought the truck used and I know it is not the original engine or transmission so it has been worked on. I'm leaning on replacing it.
Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the store bought parts vs. OEM?
Thanks in advance for any insight.
Gary
