Hey guys, I have a 98 ranger 4x4 it has 112k on a 5spd trans and has only 10k on the engine! My problem is that sometime when I'm driving the clutch gets real air-e like, like the play is a lot more than it normally feels but then goes away every once in a while but will come back... Also at times I can push the clutch in and the idle stays at whatever rpm I was doing in the gear or even when I'm doing 1500 rpm and push the clutch In or slide it to neutral the revs will jump to as high as 3000rpm and will stay there for a few seconds... The clutch itself is fairly new maybe 30k miles, any help would be greatful it get annoying and ny shifting suck because the rev change
