Clutch master cylinder

hi i was removing my clutch master cylinder when i broke the retaining clip to the push rod does anybody know how to get a new retaining clip????

Are you removing the master to replace it? The new one will come with that retainer clip.
Otherwise, my local O'Reillys had a couple different ones that should work.

Or you could just go this route lol

lol i like it... no i hade to change the line and it was easier to get it off by taking it off

That was a quickie repair when I was trying to flip my regrettable purchase. But I couldn't sell it so I decided to throw money at it. I replaced the master.

But O'Reillys had a few sizes of those retainers, try an auto parts store
 
dorman sells them in a kit with a couple other plastic bushings. look in the "help" section at your local parts place.
 
thanks i did find it at my local auto parts store
 
i just use a small ziptie on mine, been running it this way for as long as i can remember, without any issue.

i cant even pull it off with a screw driver without cutting the ziptie off first.
