Any one had this problem before.... I have an '03 Ranger with a 4.0 L and 4 wheel drive. It just started doing this. After it warms up and I come to a stop, while I'm stopped it seems to surge or "chug" and almost feels like it might stall. I cleaned the MAF, and Air Filter (K&N Cold Air Intake) Guy at local parts store suggested TPS...but I don't want to just start trowing parts at it. Any help

I have this same issue. Also does this at slow acceleration. I have been "TOLD" that this is a transmission issue that you have to get a kit to fix.

Clean the IAC; you have an idle problem.

Once you have it douched out well, cover the ports with one hand (with some carb cleaner or solvent inside) and smack it repeatedly against your other palm. You want it to make a thwock sound as the plunger travels along the shaft that you cleaned.

1993 vs 2003. Bananas and hotdogs man, they kinda look the same, but totally different beast. There are almost no issues on your truck that can apply to his.
