christmas --baa humbug- total my truck today

Had someone do that to me in a turn lane. They literally locked up all four tires (smoke and all) when the light turned yellow. They were about 6' from the line. I nailed the heck out of them. I bet I shortened the trunk on their ragged K-car by about 2'. They ran the light and took off!!! I got out of my truck, looked at the scratch on my bumper, shrugged my shoulders and left when the light turned green. I'm pretty sure INS would have been involved.

Sorry to hear about your truck, it great to see that you are both alright though.

Shame you couldn't find the people who stop at the green light. I'd give them a piece of my mind.

I appreciate everyones thought about my wife and I. I have already torn
the ranger apart, and It looks a lot worse than it is. After a trip to the bone
yard to recover the inside fender it will cost around 350.00 for all new parts
from certifit..I tell you though if this is what it takes to talk my wife into
letting me have a play toy, maybe I should wreck a vett. lol

I haven't recieved any advise on how to tear the inner fender section out
so I am assuming that no one has replaced these on there truck. I have
pics. in stages of the tear down and I will be taking pics. while putting it
back together, I haven't set up an account with one of those pic. sites
so if anyone is interested i can send them via email to you if you need them.

By "inner fender" do you mean the plastic cowling that goes over the wheel or the metal frame brace that is welded to the cab?

The plastic is easy to remove...it is only three or four screw-bolts that usually come out with ease...replacing the metal is way beyond my abilities since I have neither a welder or a cutter to do the job...
