How on Earth did someone else put a pole into your truck?

Hope you're OK...the truck can always be fixed...well, a 92 might be totalled by a run-in with a pole...

decided to stop from 60 mph on a green light, I swreved to keep from hitting him but the brakes locked up on the wet road

wife and I are both ok but still shook up only happend about an hour ago

but I have to look at the bright side cramming that five liter in it will be easier
with the front end cut off the truck looks worse than it is I think it is the
front clip that I will have to replace. I didnt have the bumper on the front
so the pass. finder, hood core support took the impact. I almost had the
truck stopped maybe a 25 mph crash

Glad you're ok. Next time you won't be following so close I hope.

Probably going less that that as a 25 mph encounter with a pole is going to be a heck a jolt with airbags deploying (provided you have them). :shok:

yikes! Not a good time to be getting into accidents! Glad you and your wife are okay. Hopefully all gets worked out...

well what the hell kinda road has stop lights when the speed limits 60 mph? bad idea goin that fast on wet roads....im sorry to hear man...

been there done that only i was by myself. glad to hear that you and the wife are ok. that sucks though. hope you can put the truck back together yourself. it will be a lot cheaper than having a body shop do it.

I have 1 pic but it was taken with phone and its not that well taken, and I cant figure
out how to post them yet, new computer and Im still learning how to use vista

That's why I don't swerve when people pull out in front of me, slam on the brakes, or do other random, stupid shit. I just hit the brakes and hope I make it. If they cause an accident, then damnit, they'll be INVOLVED in it! People around here WILL drive off from an accident they caused unless their vehicles are damaged or disabled.

I saw one idiot drift into another lane, causing the person in that lane to swerve right off the interstate and roll. She took off as fast as she could. Lucky for the hurt driver, somebody followed her and got the plate number.

Glad you are ok. I found out the hard way that a ranger actually handles a head on pretty good. My kids and me where hit head on and walked away the people that hit us whernt so lucky. After that crash I will drive a ranger for life.
