Anyone else addicted to it?

I tried it once a few years ago and got it with the hot salsa. Hated it, swore I'd never go back.

Then one night a couple months ago, I did, got the rice bowl, black beans, chicken, sour cream...

Heaven...

That is all, it's getting cold!:icon_rofl:

yeah i went once, not impressed. if i want mexican food, well american mexican food, i'm going to taco bell or el mexicano restaurant that every town in america has at least 16 of. the more expensive chains (moes, chipotle, qdoba, etc.) i dont find too tasty.

It's all about the Barbacoa man. That sounds good for dinner actually.

Sucks after working two jobs standing in an endless line... They are ALWAYS busy!

There is a taco bell right next door. I go there sometimes... The service sucks there, though. Yeah, that's my excuse.:D

Chipotle was invented in Denver. The original store is over on East Evans Ave. near the University of Denver where I used to attend.

I like carnitas the best, followed by barbacoa. The one near me at 32nd and Lowell is my go-to. I usually chat with the burrito ladies in my broken Spanish and they give me extra meat. :D

Denver has great Mexican food. I am lucky to have a cheap Mexican restaurant within walking distance of my house (so you can drink a lot of beer and walk home). Tacos de Adobada or a smothered, shredded beef burrito and some Coronas or Coors Light. Mmmmm . . .

double wrapped chicken burrito with black beans and rice, corn, cheese, and lettuce. BOMB.

i usually eat half of my burrito (or try to) and then throw the rest in the fridge for a midnight snack. perfect, since this is gonna be a long night getting all my school work done.

damn, now i really wanna give chipotle another shot lol

I ended up making pasta, but I almost went to get Chipotle. On lucky days I get to finish my girlfriend's burrito too. :D

I like Qdoba and Taco Del Mar, but go to Chipotle the most. Taco Del Mar is cheaper I think, but they make you pay for sour cream. Lame.

After living in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia I never had a hot sauce that can make my eyes water anymore. Everything that is supposed to be a hot taste is sweet to me now. All my buddies keep bringing over the 'Hottest Sauce in the World' items to see if I can handle it and I down it like water...does not burn...so I just never uses anything anymore. I love red hot chili peppers in my turkey chili and most people who eat my chili have the nasal drip and the bloodshot eyes and they keep eating it because it is so good. I always say I will reduce the heat for the next batch but I never do...and they keep eating the chili anyways...lol

They just opened one up in Machester, NH. I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but friends tell me it's preety good.

If you have kids, what most people don’t know about chpolte is that you can do a burrito there with just rice and beans. The will chargew you for two sides or just a buck and a half. Saves money and is great if you are low on the doe.

I pity you guys. All the time I was reading this thread I thought you were talking about Chipotle peppers - not some freaking restaraunt. Uggh - seriously, Taco Smell, Chillis - gag me. Of course I live in a town that's 80% Hispanic but we've got the killer restaraunts.

Herbert's taco hut - only go there when it's not raining otherwise you'll get drips on your table.

M&M tacos - one room serving breakfast tacos next to the owner's single-wide.

Garcia's - upscale, they have Dos XX.

J&M - slow but their food is great.

Plus, we have the taco guy who comes to work every day at 9:00 am. chorizo & bean, bacon egg & cheese, pork chop, meat and potato ...
