I'm flipping the rear on my 96 ranger, and am about to order lowering shackles for a chevy to lift the rear a little to keep it some what level.....does the year or long or short bed matter? I keep seeing that in the description.

The shackles have 2 holes, for either a 1" or 2" drop (or lift in my case) if that matters...

Thanks!!

so you flipped your rear shackles but it is too low in the rear?
if that is the case then chevy lowering shackles wont lift it at all. the only reason they lift a ranger is because chevy's are already flipped so making them longer lowers it. on a ranger it lifts it. if you flipped the shackles and put them on you will only be dropping it more

no, no, no, flipping the axle under the leaves, the ranger hangers and shackles are still in the stock position. I'm only doing 2" in front, so I don't want the rear drop to be too much. So using the chevy lowering to raise the ford.....

That will work to lift it, the lowest hole will be 1" and the upper will be 2"

Ya, but does year and short or long bed matter? Thats what I keep coming across when I go to order them.

no it doesn't matter Belltech 6400 will work
