Well I asked the question and I did not get a response from anyone who had done this, so I went and got so Crown Victoria Police car wheels and mounted them on my 83 Ranger. The wheels are 16in and the tires are 225/60-16. I am not sure of the width of the wheel. From what I have read the offset is -.6in.
I wanted to maintain the factory look so I pulled the stock ranger center caps and mounted them on the CVPI wheels. I had to drill three holes each and transfer the screw clips, but not hard.
On the truck they fit great. I have turned the wheels lock to lock and no issues. It drives perfectly. So, bottom line is this, yes they fit and fit great. I got all 4 with like new tires for $145 from a local Pick-a-part.
I do plan to add some trim rings in the future, but this is what it looks like right now.

:icon_idea: Maybe if you read the thread you would understand. He said the wheels are 16s and he put 225/60/R15 tires on them.

I did read it. Was wondering how you put 15 inch tires on 16 inch wheels. Figured he made a typing boo-boo.:D Wheels do look good.

I like the wheels. They don't exactly look right on a red and white truck, though. I'd paint them red.

They look great! the original ranger centers are a nice touch. If you can find some 16 inch beauty rings that might compliment them even more, but even without they look great.
