Cheap spark plug wire arc.

I use NAPA's top shelf wires.
That place sparks a fire in my wallet, I just burn through money there. :) OK, I'm bad at these electrifying puns...

Hit or miss for me there, but it is owned by different people so changes will apply...

My motorcraft plug wires just got here finally. As soon as I opened the box it became blatantly clear why the aftermarket wires began to fail so quickly...

To elaborate. The aftermarket plug wires were all the same length so routing them without touching was impossible. The Ford wires are thicker, labeled for each cylinder, proper length for each cylinder, and both the coil end and plug end have built in wire separators. I dunno how I even replaced the original wires with this crap and didn't see the issues immediately.

Perhaps you had some sort of breakdown?
