Are there any short throw shifters kits that are cheap and dont replace the entire shifter??

Because of the way the shifter is internal there is no way there could be.
Trust me, the Hurst is worth every penny.

i couldnt agree more, ive had one for 3 1/2 years now. it is well worth the money.
You could hackjob a short shifter...aka cut up a stock one and make it short. That would give you shorter throws.
Hurst is well worth it's price IMO. Have had mine goin' on 4 years now. They pop up used/next to new for about 100-150 here sometimes.
